May 19th County Democrats attended State District Convention in Smithfield, North Carolina.
August 13th County Chairperson, Amenta Eaton accepted trophy for highest percentage of delegates at District Convention in Smithfield, North Carolina from Jerry Dodson.
August 13th Franklin County Young Democrats were formally organized and introduced to Executive Committee of the Franklin County Democratic Party. The "Young Dems" have already started a voter registration drive and volunteered at the St. Paul Presbyterian Church's Soup Kitchen. They have also earned their Golden Tickets to go to the Democratic National Convention.
August 2nd Grand Opening of the new Franklin County Democratic Party Headquarters at 108 East Nash Street in Louisburg. County Executive Committee members, public officials, and candidates listened to speeches and enjoyed refreshments provided by the Franklin County Democratic Women.
